I don't have footage from the television series we did with Terry Neason in 1987. But I do have the audio tapes still in my possession having recorded much of the music for the show as well as being musical director for the house band. On reflection I think the whole production would've been more suited to radio, sounding a lot better than it looked. If memory serves we were forced to wear tuxes at gunpoint.
Terry's rendering of Respect here is perfectly placed, her performance on the other song, the Goffin & King classic, huge, maybe too huge but still impressive for all that as she rivals Aretha. The boys in the band were impressive too given for some of them it was their first telly gig.
