SCHEME

Scheme was an interesting band from Easterhouse in Glasgow. They could fill the city's big venues with thousands of fans yet they were virtually unheard of elsewhere. I performed with them at the Glasgow Pavilion to a capacity crowd and the place was heaving.

I also recorded their first album financed by the City Council as well as mixing some live broadcast recordings from which Turn On Your Radio is taken.

Denny was a sterling songwriter and Rab had a superb voice that did a lot more than carry the tune. Pity they didn't rise to a greater occasion.
