We opened the studio up to some of the local bands who were kicking around. It was just a shaking of the trees to see what might happen.
The gesture was well-intended on our part but maybe not always appreciated. And even if some success had come of the initiative we would have seen no benefit. Studios work for little and nothing yet they are often significant cogs in the development wheel.
Still, I was happy in these days just to be doing stuff. The Topplers were a relevant band with an excellent graphic artist in Alan Henry their bass player. They appear on the , a compilation album of material from the period.
